Recently I retired from industry where my job as an Instrumentation Design Engineer gave me experience in working with teams and individuals in engineering.
I spent over 44 years in heavy engineering being involved with the the designing, engineering and building of oil and gas platforms, floating production vessels and LNG plants for clients all over the world.
This involved managing the many challenges presented on offshore and onshore hydrocarbons and LNG projects nationally and internationally also as a leader, trainer and technical authority.
In parallel I joined the Coaches Training Institute®, commonly known as CTI®, to train as a CTI coach.
In 1989 I learned to fly gliders and gained a Silver Certificate and in 2009 I earned my Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) and until 2017 I held a 1/8 share in a TB20 complex single engine aeroplane. Piloting my own plane was an ambition I held from a young age and the challenge to achieve this was very rewarding.
I'm happily married and crucially feel that my life is very well balanced.
Now retired from engineering my goal is to help others reach their potential by offering them the benefit of my experience and as their life coach.
